One slimeballs trash turned into my treasure around 8 years ago.
A part chow, part something else puppy decided to climb into the cab of my ranger while I was throwing trash away at the county cans. The rest of her littermates and her ma would not come near, but she jumped in the cab while my back was turned. SHe started in on my lunch leftovers from work and I could not bear to throw her back out.
She came home with me and stayed by my side since then. She was always happy to see me or the family come out the door, she was never mad when we left for a day or three.
I left for work yesterday evening and got my usual by wag and bark, but when I returned this morning there was no sound or movement.
I checked and found her laying in her house passed away
Rest In Peace Josey, You will be missed sorely.
(I know it isnt gun related, so feel free to lock mods, I just had to say goodbye. I am sure that at least some of you fine folks understand my feelings)
It is now time for a meal, shower and bed.
