I totally agree with you, but sometimes grease
is the optimal lubricant. Some guns like it the best, so I don't argue with them, I grease them.
Not for my P32, though. Jeez, I'm surprised you even tried it.
Not on my newer 1911 either. That's the one that loves graphite.
