I don't know if I should have just known better given the times or if I should be upset or just have a beer and go about my merry way.
I ordered some
FAXM193BK from Natchez a while back. Based on this: "
XM193 product is first run, first quality product manufactured at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant for the U.S. Government to NATO specifications.", I was expecting to get the Federal bulk pack stuff with Lake City brass.
What I got was Independence XM193I with FC headstamps. I suppose at this point I should be happy that I got anything. But I was hoping to get 500 pieces of the LC brass for my reloading endeavors out of this deal. This is my first real go-around with the AR platform and reloading for it. Been tearing up the .308 and getting some really good handloads; was time for a change of caliber.
Am I just being dumb?
