To form .35 Whelen cases from .270 Winchester will most likely require two steps. The first step is to size to .30 and then size to .35. This is a lot of stretching and when completed the necks might not hold the bullet sufficiently. If you must form you cases use 30/06 Springfield. Better yet, purchase a 100 .35 Whelen cases that will last you years.
