Addendum re: flashbangs.
These are sometimes erroneously referred
to as "grenades" or "concussion
grenades" that "explode" or "detonate".
Though flashbangs have a ordnance
component to them, none of these terms
are accurate in describing either the
device (unless describing projectile
emitting types) or the chain of events
which actuate it.
Single element flashbangs may be
preferable to separating sub-munition
types though my unit has used both types
over the course of our history.
