Vermont was really the first in the nation to allow concealed carry by any adult who could own or possess a loaded firearm by law. No license or permit was needed.

Open-carry for both residents and non-residents is legal here in New Hampshire as well, with the one exception that "carrying" in a vehicle is not considered open-carry even if the firearm is fully visible.
