A comment in this thread mentions that the trigger pull on the P238 is 8 pounds. By this time most people are aware that the P238 and the new Kimber 380 are copies of the Colt Mustang, which in turn was derived from the Spanish Star Model D. But the P238 and the new Kimber 380 have a removable mainspring housing, where the Colt does not. It would seem that this would make it far easier to remove the mainspring and clip a couple of coils to reduce trigger pull.

Has anyone tuned the trigger on a Mustang, P238 or Kimber 380? How did you approach it, and what did you get for a trigger pull?
