I have gotten myself confused regarding Sabot Slugs vs Regular Slugs.

I have been using Sabot Slugs in a 11oo Rifle Barrel gun for 3 Gun Shooting.
I have [urchased a Mossberg 590 for the same purpose.
Need advise since this is a Smooth Bore gun.
Which one would be the most accurate ?
