A lot of Spanish-made shotguns were imported under numerous brand names from 1900 until the 1980s. Generally, they are cheaply-made and impossible to find part for. If it works it may be good for shooting, but be careful you aren't too rough on it.
American Arms Inc is vague enough it could be anything from a storefront operation to a real gunmaker that also imported guns. Look for the proofmarks, which often have dates with them. That will give you an idea of how old it is.
