Just a thought-- perhaps they are being very very careful in case the state counts hours, minutes, and the thoughts of a fine and jail time make the extra day sensible? Think about it-- no excuses but I know how the government works-- I closed a business over a year ago and turned in my business license, but was billed for six months for sales tax and had liens filed at the courthouse until finally I talked to a young woman over the phone that straightened most of it out. She said I should of sent in ZERO amount returns until orignal letter was acknolwdeged!!
Just think about it-- a slight error and WHAM-- you are out of business. The government, not the economy, is the main reason I no longer run my own business. The stress of the thing is not worthwhile even when you go completely down the line. Just a thought. Of course, anyone as careful as them will probably get screwed. The real crooks get away forever!
