I have no idea... I just bought my gun about the time of the acadamy shooting, when ever that was... couple years ago... but I was really early in reloading the cartridge, big learning curve, bought 1000 once fired cases, when I learned about the shoulder issue... BTW... both the carbine & the handgun operate the same, so both are hard on cases...
