If you're on a budget and you still want a good bi-pod, look into the VersaPod... the #1 Classic or the model 50 series #s 51 & 52. I recall that you'll need at least 7" of leg to clear a 20 rd magazine from a bench. Kinda depends on the slope of the target range too.
