Thanks for the input so far.
I was looking into the KKM barrel in 9x19mm for G/armed security details.
I may just order that barrel & have the GlockStore.com pistolsmiths install-fit it to the frame.

The used model 22 .40 is sold here; www.JGsales.com . It's listed as a Gen03 model in very good/+ condition for about $350.00 USD.

I also saw a new LE surplus model 22 but it's price is $559.00.
