I think it's probably low on the list of priorities but it doesn't seem that exorbitant fees have been challenged or attacked legally.
New York City's fees for a handgun license cost as much as many pistols do. ($340.00. and $94.25 for fingerprints)
I have no idea what Chicago and Ilinois will eventually do - but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Right now we have to focus on getting a good carry law.
