I get you on the AR's, tahunua001. Truth be told I am pretty heavily invested in Stoner's speckled pup. Been to the armorer school, work on them for my little Dept. They're not bad rifles. But I don't own one and am not in the market for one.
AN awful lot of it comes down to personal preference, the willingness to solve problems that arise and commit to mastering an individual rifle. One thing's for sure... neither of us will suffer for lack of available accessories.
