I ended up making some calls yesterday before I made the purchase and another one of the shops near my home had the all black for 549.99. Though that is still pretty high, in today's market I was okay with the price.
Went and bought it and 100 rounds for 615 and some change out the door.
Happy camper! Planning to send the slide off to James to have a bit of custom work done to it. Can't wait! I'll post some before and after pictures after it is finished!
