I am tempted even though I have a TC frame. I can buy the whole gun for $50 less than I can buy a used TC barrel. Then I have to add sights/optics.

I also think this pistol would make a good product made at a higher quality level. A lot of states, mine included, have hunting regulations favorable to a handgun. $75 more in workmanship and this might be a decent back-up/entry hunting gun.
