Uh, no... The UK has a constitutional monarchy, and the laws are made by an elected parliament. As Fiddletown points out, the natural right to self defense has been significantly curtailed
by law in Great Britain.
The original castle doctrine was embodied in (and actually preceded) the English Common Law, which was in fact adopted by our forefathers.
