@ schmellba99 Yeah it is pretty bad, neck shot a couple others with that load and almost took their head off, skin was the only thing holding it on. My 6.5x55 is not nearly as messy but I want a good bullet for my 30 cals too, might try the 150gr Speer BTSP or SST next they both shoot REALLY well in my 30-06 and 308.

You need to find a different projectile and look at a little bit meeker load. I wouldn't take that gun hunting simply because it tears so much up - defeats the purpose to me.
Even a BST won't do that kind of damage, and a Partition certainly won't.
