Good replies.

I keep the glasses on the bedside table, and can have then on in a flash. There's only one person besides me who has any business in my house in the wee hours, and I know him pretty well (my son). Anyone else just might be in a heap o' hurt.

Unless your glasses are made to a hopelessly outdated prescription, they won't distort your vision appreciably if you need to wear them in a pinch. I shoot with either and do just fine.

Everyone I've spoken with who has had Lasik surgery says it's the best thing they've ever done, wish they'd done it years earlier, etc.
