Sorry I didn't include any 40 grain bullet loads. It's because I didn't try any, not because they performed poorly.
I wanted to try some back then because I had some reservations about 50 grain and heavier bullets in the slow twist barrel, but I couldn't get my hands on any.
But I have some now, though. Ballistic tips and V-Max both. Leftover from a K-Hornet project. Which didn't work out too bad, But didn't offer anything the old Hairball didn't.
