I load the Hornady 68s the same as the 69 SMK with Varget. Varget is not as temp sensitive as some of the other powders. H4895 works good too.
748 is one of the powders that will show pressure signs at higher ambient temperatures. I stopped using 748 due to pierced primers.
My tried and true load for the 69 SMK is 25.3g Varget in LC brass with a Rem 7-1/2 primer. I shoot a 24 in. 1 in 9. The 68s are very close in performance to the 69s.
