Most of my .45 work is at the 7 yard "personal defense" range using 3.9 of Clays or 4.0 of Bullseye under a 200 grain LSWC or a 230 grain LRN.

They stay in one tight little ragged one hole group with these loads out of a S&W 625 wheelgun, if I stay consistent in my loads.

Same loads in the near identical size .45ACP brass, sometimes using moon clips.

There is just too much free .45ACP brass lying about to simply walk away from it. For this cheapskate, anyway.
