Years ago I traded a Security Six for a GP100 and always regretted it. Although arguably tougher with its extra latch on the crane, the GP was bigger and heavier and I could never get it to shoot it nearly as well as the Security Six. The Six also had the nicest factory grip of any centerfire revolver I've owned - it fit MY hand perfectly. YMMV, of course, but if it were me looking for a Ruger 357 I'd look for a Security Six.
