Thanks for the suggestion of lighter loads, it is appriciated. I do like the faster, lighter bullets going above 3000 fps for the type of varmint hunting I do out here in Wyoming. I normally load with H335 and 55 grainers to around 3150 fps, so that is where I was trying to get with Varget. I reached it in my test at 26.0 gr, but being this thread started because I had never used Varget and was worried at the 26.5 gr load being compressed so much to cause a problem, I stuck with the 26.5 gr theme here.

Thanks again, some day I will try the heavier bullets and Varget!
