I'm late in replying to this, but I've been at the farm being sure my deer are fat for this upcoming rifle opener.
Cubed deer meat (southerners don't say, "venison"
) marinated in Italian dressing, lightly dusted with flour, salt and peppered to taste, fried in butter, until the juices turn a light pink--then pull it. Serve it up with some mashed taters, gravy, cathead biscuits, and sweet tea.
That's my favorite meal...
