Giving up some velocity compared to other powders, yeah. Consistency, maybe. And, by that I mean it depends on your standards. Match grade SD in single digits, probably not. Good enough for most things, probably.

Whether or not case fill % is going to be an issue or not depends on several variables but not getting the case as full as you can isn't always a problem.

and consistency?? Consider this, shooting from an AR, with its fast feed and sudden stop when chambered, the powder will tend to be shifted to the front of the case fairly consistently.

All else being equal (and it almost never is) bigger bullets tend to work better.
