I had, until a few months ago, a Taurus 851 revolver (same thing I think as the 650 CIA you describe, except 38 Special, not 357 mag). I put almost 1800 rounds through it, in less than a year....and had no problems whatsoever. A reliable, accurate little wheel gun. Any of the 5-shot Tauruses are derivatives of their model 85 series, which (arguably) are the best Taurus makes....and quite good in comparison with other brands. I wouldn't be worried about buying that 650, if I were you.
