you can save the bullet and play with seating depth, save the powder and ensure consistant loads. through away the brass and primer because its junk. I have quite a bit of actual once fired 7.62x54r brass. I wouldnt want to try to work up a new load with the powder, just ensure that what ever the average is, that its right there on it rather than half a grain high or low. Ive seen where people have taken m118lr 7.62 nato rounds and reseated, and made the powder charge more consitant.
