I started off with a Marlin in .450 as my brushbuster but it was literally the worst lever action I have ever laid hands on. Traded it at a local pawn shop for a Winchester Big Bore in .375 Win and never looked back. I absolutely love this rifle. It's lighter and better handling and the quality is much better than that **** of a Marlin.
