Most of the time I prefer stainless due to the fact that I can restore the finish to 100% easily and for little to no money whether it be bead blasting, polishing, or brushing. On gun's with polymer or aluminum frames I will always go blued/black. Not only do I hate the look of two tone, but what is the point of restoring to slide to new condition only to have the frame still worn looking. I could always send the frame off for refinishing, but usually the cost is about half of what the gun was new. You could take that money, sell the gun, buy a brand new one, and still have money left over.
