From what I just heard on the news The NRA, and other 2nd amendment groups are proclaiming January 19 as "Gun Appreciation Day". They want people who are for preserving the 2nd Amendment, and are against the government making law biding citizens suffer for the actions of criminals. They want people to show support this day by showing up in large numbers to gun stores, shooting ranges. I will support this day, and I hope others do.
