Eliminator spinner plate test

For those of you that use feeders here is a little test I have been doing over the past year or so. My cage around one of my spinner plates were rusted out and the critters were cleaning me out of corn.

I put an eliminator spinner plate on one of my two feeders and left the same cage on it. It has been a little over a year now. After filling both the feeders up this weekend the eliminator plate was still going strong with no mechanical issues which is what I was concerned about since it has chain links and other moving parts.

The eliminator plate saves me somewhere in the ball park of 1 to 1.5 bags of corn per fill up compared to my other feeder with a regular spinner and good squirrel cage around it.

At $9.50 a bag it paid for itself pretty quick since we feed year round.
