There is apparently no logical argument that would sway someone who is ideologically anti-gun.
Equalization of the disparity of force being the primary, if not the only function of the 2nd amendment, combined with the fact that that criminals will have any such weapons they desire ought to be enough.
But, as we know, logic, reason and the facts are not important to someone who has already decided the amendment is not worth insisting upon.
