Has anyone got a clue to why lead shot prices have doubled in less than a year. I was just out to Gander Mountain and they want $33.99 for a 25lb bag of 7 1/2 shot lead. Just last winter I was buying it for $17 and change. Wow, they're trying to take the joy out of reloading. Is there a chance that the war we're in, has been causing shortages? If anyone has any idea where I get get a better price let me know please. In the last few years there was never a real big savings in loading for trap shooting but now I think it might be cheaper to buy AA 's by the case than to load my own.
