I plan to get a carry permit when I can afford it and if legal... I tell a few friends or my family but not all of them understand.
My response is that I plan on having a family and I want to do everything I can to protect them. If there is a time when I need it and I dont have it because I choose not to carry I would be devastated and I would have let them down. I refuse to be ideal and let someone else take control of a situation I dont like or could cause harm.
