I tried Rainier's 200gr. .45 flat point, for the first time on Saturday. I had one failure to feed, but I've been having extractor tension "issues" recently, so can't say for sure that it wouldn't have fed fine, otherwise. I've also been loading their 230gr. round nose, but haven't shot any yet. One thing I can say, is they are still the softest bullets I've ever shot. Just seating the 230s in the case leaves a large ring imprint in the bullet nose, where the seating stem contacted. Seating and crimping leaves a similar ring around the bullet at the case mouth, and I can't believe any such distortion is good for accuracy.
