In ballistics the 454 is pretty far ahead of the 50...
Typical 454 = 260 gr @ 1800 fps = 1811 fpe
Typical 50 = 300 gr @ 1380 fps = 1228 fpe

They are both the king of there own realm. The 50 is the king of Autos and the Casull the king of Revolvers. Both really have no purpose except hunting bear or making small to medium cars blow up. They are both large and heavy guns relatively speaking.
They are both quite expensive to shoot and have recoil, muzzle blast and a boom that is omni potent....the 50 AE literally sounds like a 50+ caliber muzzle loader when fired...........
And I want one of each of them.....
