I do crimp, so the recoil doesn't start to pull the other bullets out while they're in the cylinder.

This is less necessary with light handloads than with magnum handloads, but I always do it anyway. Consistency is the name of the game for accurate ammo, and I want all the bullets to remain seated to the depth I choose.
