I don't see why anyone would consider using a screw type ball puller on a revolver.
For balls in the cyllinder a short length of brass rod through the nipple hole works fine.

I've used screws for pullers a few times over the years. It's quick and easy. Keep the screw centered in the ball and is no danger to chamber walls.

A screw type puller takes quite a bit of effort and in the barrel generally two people to use. The screw going in expands the ball and makes it an even tighter fit and harder to remove.

No real effort in a chamber. Ball comes out pretty easy. I wouldn't use a puller in a barrel either.

For balls in the barrel a length of hardwood dowel or a brass or nylon rod will bump it out easily.

Thats true.
