so far boyds puts out well, save i hate the built in recoil pad and i have to use a slip on over it.
i will mount a swivel stud onto new stock and use a under pitcanny rail with stud to have bipod and a sling

can a feller just point out that you can't swap back to military configuration because of the paint? you can slap the wood back on it but it will never have the same collectors value again which a year ago I wouldn't bat an eye at but considering that they have almost doubled in value in the last 2 years, appreciation will leave your rifle in the dust I'm afraid.
