Honest opinion: the Sub-2k has irrational "value" now, and it may hold that value or climb due to the political climate, so if it's about money, you took the short end of the stick.

However, if it's about guns, shooting, enjoyment, quality, pride of ownership, and, well, just about everything else OTHER then straight dollar "value" then I am quite sure you made a fantastic deal. No doubt. Excellent pistol you took in trade for what amounts to a cheap, oddball curio that has a huge following because it's "scary" and compact.

I don't have the longer competition target, but I do have the KMK-512, and it may actually be my finest firearm I own depending on the criteria we'd use to judge.

I also have a Sub2k.
