I have a dilemma. I would like to purchase my first 1911 pistol. Right now I'm interested in either the Springfield TRP 1911 or the S&W Performance Center 1911 .45 acp. At this point I'm uncertain. Are there better choices to consider? I realize that I might have to wait a bit for the above models. Might an STI be a better choice ?
