Heather, if you want max $$ for the gun, you should put it on-line at http://gunbroker.com/ and let those who really want that model bid it up for you. Find a friend who is into guns to help you. Take a lot of pictures. I sold a Winchester 1200 on gunbroker about 4-5 months ago for $330 and buyer paid the shipping. It was probably about 90%, maybe 95%, though to an extent condition is in the eyes of the beholder. It was "bid up" between 3-4 bidders...they get a little emotional about it...that's what you want. You'll have to go through an FFL (Federal Firearms License) holder though. That will cost you $25-35 or so...unless you happen to have the license .
