Any soft point hunting ammo sold will do the job. I'm a 196 grain man myself but a lot of black bears have decided to die after being shot by a 150 grain 30-30 round so you would be hard pressed to find a load for your 8 that won't work. Don't overthink it, just get some practice in and go hunting with whatever you have...just as long as it isn't FMJ.
