It was the second gun I ever bought. Like someone else in this thread mentioned mine was a Ruger 10/22. I didn't know much about guns then so I don't remember what model it was back in 1990 but it looked just like the modern Sporter model and could have been for all I know. I had a banana clip that held x0 rounds and was great fun at the range and fields. Yup, wish I hadn't sold it and had it back. I was just a poor late 20 something and probably needed the money for something and wasn't shooting it much at the time. I recorded the buyers name on a piece of paper I just ran across a few months ago. Maybe I'll contact him, see if he want's to sell it back.
Or, I'll just add it to my want list.
