Good post.

I had check out that FAUL serial number base some years ago when I bought mine. I admire the way that site is being maintained. It really is a good resource.

I mused about the "B" on that ASM brass frame revolver. This prompted me to look at all of the serial numbers on my revolvers. A lot of manufacturers appear to have used leading letters.
