I fired about 200 rounds yesterday and day before. Not at paper, just plinking and ringing some steel. The springs are "robust" to say the least, and the trigger is a little stiff. I will probably shoot a couple of bricks through it and see how much it loosens up, if any. The trigger will have to be substantially lighter to get any degree of real accuracy. Some Rugers "wear in" to the extent that no work or spring change is needed, and others don't. We will see. I love the gun. I realize that old-time craftsmanship just isn't possible at the factory now, and the fact that I have been shooting 60s and early 70s era S&W Kit Guns makes a comparison unfair.
