The wife and I searched for a good condition, affordable Model 13 for quite some time before we found this 13-1 at a local gun show:

We replaced the rubber Pachmayrs with Ahrends maple grips.
Good Model 13s are very pricey, in my experience. I don't mean to be argumentative, but a good M13 should bring $450 - $475 out the door.

Sandlerj07, as much as I love the M13, $700 seems a good price for your non-P&R gun - but I would "grudgingly" agree to take $750, while grumbling about "needing money for my daughter's liver transplant..."
