Escort MP-A/S Tactical 2 12 GA Important Question

Very long time lurker, now a registed user and first time posting...I Have a very important question about the Escort MP-A/S Tactical 2 shotgun. And if I can get some input from peeps that own the MP-A/S Tactical 2, would be much appreciated.

I just bought an MP-S/A . And happened across an issue, with my first time out with it yesterday.

When the shotgun is loaded with a shell. The bolt release and shell carrier are depressed, which then allows you to feed the shell in to the magazine tube. As you feed that shell into the magazine tube, it will pass over the top of the bolt release. Which will allow it to return to its normal position. But the Shell carrier will remain depressed, because there is still pressure on it from the shell. Now, for what ever reason (wet thumb, under stress, not paying attention, what have you). If your thumb comes off the bottom shell, before its full engaged into the magazine tube. The force of the spring in the magazine tube, will force that shell back in to the receiver, and will jam in between the bolt release and shell carrier, which will render the firearm completely inoperable. With no way to clear the jam, unless you cut the shell in half while its lodged in the receiver (which I had to do, because I was at the range) or, remove the two pin’s which hold the trigger assembly group in the receiver, then remove the trigger assembly group.

Has anyone had this issue? And could someone that own's the MP-A/S take a look at their shotgun and see is if it act's the same. Just don't let loose of the shell. I would hate for it to jam up on you, like it did with me.

Thanks,

Jim
